Mens Italian Leather Shoes

Interested in men’s Italian leather shoes?  Men’s Italian leather shoes are some of the most sought after shoes due to the fact that the Italians spend an inordinate amount of time hand stitching them.  Most other places outsource their work to Africa and to Asia and the quality comes up sub-standard, however if you’re looking for men’s Italian leather shoes, you obviously understand the importance the Italians place on developing quality footwear.

This is why so many of the high end shoe companies are Italian, they’ve cornered out a niche in providing the best crafted footwear you can get your hands on.  But if you’re not sure which shoes to go with, don’t worry, I’m going to go over a few of your options right here so that you’ll know what to look out for out there:

1.  Salvatore Ferragamo "Gurux" Slides with Metal Detail

Here’s a great loafer to consider.  It has a small buckle on it at the side of the shoe, right below where the stitching begins, other than that you have a leather sole here and a slight heel on this shoe.
This is a great shoe with some versatility.  Due to it being a slip on/loafer, it can be dressed up or dressed down.  This one goes for $480 over at Bloomingdales.

2.  Salvatore Ferragamo "Gent" Lace-Ups

If you want your shoe to be a bit more formal looking, you may opt to go for this shoe.  It is leather with 4 eye, oxford style lacing and a rounded toe, it also has a slight heel.  It is your standard dress shoe which will go with just about anything, the type of shoe that should be a staple in every man’s wardrobe.  You can pick this one up for $480 at Bloomingdales.

3.  Giorgio Armani Vitello Slip-On Loafers

One of the most classic of men’s Italian leather shoes is the slip on loafer, this one is completely bare without any buckle or strap and so it is perfect for dressing up or dressing down.  Again, this is something you need in your wardrobe, the versatility of this shoe cannot be overstated.

This is subtly stitched and has a smooth leather finish with a stacked heel.  This goes for $525 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

In searching for men’s Italian leather shoes, you may find that these prices are too rich for your blood, but not to worry, you can get good deals on used shoes over at EBay and you might even luck in on some sales at places like Harry Rosen or Holt Renfrew.  What I can tell you is that every man needs to experience fine Italian footwear!
